The Trips

AVOID THE CROWDS  SEE THE REAL KEY WEST  

We offer half day and full day trips to the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge for a maximum of six guests aboard the Safari.   Our trips take place in a relaxed atmosphere where you will encounter wildlife in a tranquil environment.  We depart daily from the Banana Bay Resort located at 2319 North Roosevelt in Key West, Florida aboard the sailing catamaran Safari.  
 

Half Day Trips: Our half day trips are 4 1/2  hours long and include snacks and fresh fruit, sodas, water, snorkel gear, and comfortable sit-in kayaks.  On this trip we sail into The Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge to snorkel the refuge and explore the mangrove islands by kayaks.   We offer two trips daily, a morning trip and an afternoon trip.  Our afternoon trip concludes by viewing one of Key West's famous beautiful sunsets.  Departure times vary.  
 

Full Day Trips:  Full day trips are 7 hours long and include lunch, snacks and fresh fruit, sodas, water, snorkel gear, and comfortable sit-in kayaks.  On this trip we sail into the heart of the  refuge to snorkel and explore the mangrove islands by kayaks.   The extended time of our full day trip allows you to completely relax and get in tune with the daily cycle of the refuge.  
 

Sunset Sails:  Our sunset sails are a perfect way to bring an end to  your day in Key West and kick off your evening.  Enjoy nature's awesome light show just off Key West.  We include sodas and water on this two hour cruise. Please feel free to bring beer, wine, or champagne to celebrate the sunset.   
 
      
 

Private Trips and Charters:  The Safari is also available for private charter.    
 

What you should bring: Please bring a towel, plenty of sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, camera, and a great attitude.
